  • Brittany Popelka

Brittany is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working as a mental health counselor for about 3 years with previous experience in helping patients in hospital settings. She graduated with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 2019.

Brittany’s first and primary goal is to ensure that every individual feels safe and comfortable in her sessions and doing what she can to help ease the process of therapy. Brittany believes that each client is an expert in their own life and supports the therapy process by helping clients gain clarity, direction, and healing within their lives.

Brittany utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy with her foundation being in Person-Centered Therapy and incorporating other approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, and adding activities and art when it would be a benefit to the client. Because Brittany believes that everyone is unique and has individualized needs, she strives to tailor her counseling approach to each individual. Brittany typically works with clients who present with depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma, substance use, relationship issues, and personality disorders and also has experience working with diverse populations, LGBTQ+, couples, families, adults, and children. Brittany does a combination of remote and in-person sessions.

Brittany is passionate about helping and supporting others, mental health, and has gratitude for being allowed the privilege to be a part of each client’s journey
