Elaine Coller

Elaine is a licensed therapist and clinical supervisor as well as the Equine Director at Balanced Mind Counseling, Elaine believes that healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and sometimes, with a horse.
Her approach to therapy is trauma-informed and integrative. She will combine evidence-based modalities like EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with experiential work, including equine-assisted therapy, to support deep emotional healing and personal growth.
Elaine is passionate about walking alongside people as they reclaim their voice, explore their values, and learn to hold space for all parts of themselves. Elaine believes the many times the presence of horses often brings something special to the process—offering honest feedback, calm connection, and opportunities for insight that words alone sometimes can’t reach. However, Equine therapy is not the only place where Elaine works well with helping you find peace in your life. Whether you meet in the office, through telehealth, or in the arena, Elaine offers a grounded and compassionate space where your story is heard and honored.
