Jada Lister
Jada works alongside individuals as well as children and their caregivers to gently navigate feelings of worry and help build self-confidence and problem-solving skills, empowering clients to meet life’s challenges with greater ease. Together, you’ll explore positive coping strategies and healthy emotional expression through a strength-based, compassionate approach, with the goal of bringing balance and calm back into your home.
Jada’s therapeutic style is person-centered, drawing from play-based therapy and sand tray work, at times integrating other modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She moves fluidly between these approaches to best meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
Her areas of focus include Autism, ADHD and neurodivergent-affirming care, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and supporting the social and emotional experiences of gifted and twice-exceptional children, though she has experience working with individuals with a wide variety of concerns across the entire lifespan. She has spent the past four years providing respite care services to high needs children and adolescents and recently earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Denver.
In her free time, Jada enjoys reading the latest fantasy novels, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her adorable guinea pig Gidget!
